T-Rex, Triceratops, Velociraptor.....Jurassic time!

Something for Spring or for a cloudy Summer day....who doesn't like Dinosaurs?

The park is in Metalica (MC), full address and contact details on their website https://www.lepietredeldrago.it/parco-dinosauri/ I know the name translated doesn't have anything to do with dinosaurs.... "the dragon's stones"....but each dinosaur is actually made of stone and it is real size!!

The ticket is juts €5 per person (kids under 4 go free) and I recommend to bring your own food/drinks so you can use the pic-nic area! There is a snack bar but when we went we just bought ice-creams for the boys, those things can be slightly overpriced when it is the only one available on site. Parking space is just next to the park and good news is free.

A small playground together with the giant dinosaurs and the green space around, where the kids can run around safely, make overall a great excitement for a day out. Very simple entertainment but this is the type we like the most!

An idea....maybe spend couple of hours at the park and then visit Fabriano (15-20 mins drive).

Highly recommend the group visit, it will last no more than 1 hour and 15 mins and the tour can be in Italian, English, French, Spanish or German. The program includes a live demonstration of hand-made paper, performed by the Museum's Master paper makers, viewing the antique watermarks from the 13th Century to our days (found very interesting the room with banknotes) , and a film on the history of paper in Fabriano. They also have workshop for kids on paper making!
